Is there any profession with more stigma than sales?

Sales is a funny business

No other profession has the same stigma & negative stereotypes attached to it

Apart from recruitment

But let's face it, that's also sales

If you are a salesperson, you know what the answer is...

Don't live up to the negative stereotype

Behave in the opposite way

Reverse it

Instead of 'pitching', ask better questions

Instead of talking, listen

And listen intently

Go much deeper

Immerse yourself in the world of your prospect

See their world through their eyes

And stop thinking about yourself

...the irony is, if you start acting this way, you'll see much better results

So don't fall into the trap of short-term selfish

Because it will only lead to long-term poor.
