Use Metaphors

Any story told using metaphors communicates indirectly through the subconscious.
Complex metaphors are stories told with different levels of meaning.
Telling a story elegantly distracts the conscious mind and activates a subconscious search for meaning and resources.
To create a successful metaphor the relationship between the various elements of the story need to be the same as the relationships between the elements of the problem.
The metaphor will resonate in the subconscious, in turn mobilizing the necessary resources.
Creating a metaphor is like composing music in that it goes straight to the left brain and by-passes the conscious mind.
Story-telling entertains, gives knowledge, expresses truths, offers possibilities and ideas way past habitual ways of thinking.
Perhaps it's time to incorporate this into your conversations and see what happens!
