What exactly is LinkedIn?

The debate goes on...

What exactly is LinkedIn?

Some say it's a marketing tool for creating content and personal brands.

Others say it's a sales tool or 'social selling'...and simply another sequence in outreach.

I'm not sure I buy into either.

I like to think of LinkedIn as an online business club...an ongoing 24/7 networking event.

Not purely sales.

And not purely marketing.

In my mind it's a platform designed for:

- the art of mingling

- bringing something of value to the party

- building contacts for future win-win relationships
