You ARE in sales...so be proud!

Salespeople are often told to sound like they're NOT in sales...




Perhaps their title is:



- Customer success manager


- Client relations representative


- Business development manager


- Client success consultant



Why?



Because people hate being sold to.



They have built-in sales resistance.



Over the years sales has developed a bad reputation, due in no short supply to a lot of underhand working practices.



And so it's no wonder people put up their defences.



So what's the answer?



*Stop selling*



- Start understanding


- Start listening


- Start helping



And never pretend you're not in sales.



Just make sure you do it better.



And when you do you won't sound like a salesperson.
