Do not allow yourself to get pulled into this negative narrative...



It will drag you down if you let it.



You have to see the hidden opportunity.



During a recession:


- The world doesn't stop spinning

- Money doesn't just dissappear


It's just more restricted.



*Did you know that during the great depression more businesses were formed that at any other time in human history?*



This is no coincidence.



Times like these simply call for more efficiency, more resourcefulness & more resilience.



Yes, people will get laid off - but if you work in sales - there's never been a more urgent time to up your game.



Top performers are never made redundant - in fact they're more essential than ever.



Often they are the only thing holding many companies together.



So, if you've been coasting, then this is the catalyst you need:


- No more excuses

- No more resting on your laurels



It's never too late to break through your limitations and strive for more.



Those who do will clean up - alongside the other high performers.



People who are laid off will free up new swathes of the market.



And there will be even more food on the table.



High performers will capitalise on this.



Make no mistake.



And they will make even more money than during the good times.



This is the irony - and the reality.



So make sure you're part of it and not complaining to your family and friends that:


- 'it wasn't your fault'


- 'it's the economy'


- 'it's tough'



...stop!



Take responsibility.



Educate yourself.



Read books on sales & personal development.



Do some training, whether it's with me or someone else.



And stop blaming external factors.



You can't change them.



All you can change is yourself.



So...


- take charge of your sales journey


- grab the wheel


- re-steer


- get your foot on the gas



And start now!



Turn the impending crisis into an untapped opportunity.
