Arghhh - not again!

The worst things to hear in sales?
"I'll come back to you."
"Leave it with me."
"Give me a couple of weeks."
Why?
Because you've lost control.
People are often just being polite.
Saying any of the above is easier than saying 'no' because they don't have to justify themselves.
They're leaving you with 'hope'.
And 'hope' is not a strategy.
It's what flimsy forecasts are based on.
So instead:
- Take charge
- Go for the 'no'
- Take control of next steps
- Manage expectations carefully
- Never leave things hanging
If you don't you will be forced into 'chase mode'...the worst of all the sales afflictions.
So assert yourself, do it respectfully and never chase again.
