If you work in sales - it's difficult not to scroll and find 100 pieces of advice hitting you before you've even had your morning Weetabix.
Yet one thing I've noticed - 'advice' being regurgitated when it's clear the author or 'regurgitator' doesn't fully understand the underlying psychology behind their guidance.
Much like during a sales meeting, NEVER just accept things at face value, just because it has a gillion likes.
If you're unsure - ask questions, get clarity, find out if they can actually explain what they outlined.
Or was it cobbled together and spat out like a beta version of ChatGPT?
Understand if this is someone you actually want to follow.
Do they walk the walk?
Are they the real deal?
Or are they simply parroting what they heard elsewhere, in the name of building their own 'personal brand'?
Whilst there is nothing new under the sun, the people worth listening to actually understand the mechanics behind their advice.
And if not...they're most likely a wolf in sheep's clothing.
