- After each sales meeting do you make a note of everything you could have done better?
- Do you spend time thinking about different elements of the conversation?
- Do you listen back to call recordings and dissect where you appeared to either fully engage or lose your prospect?
If you don't do any of these things and are regularly getting ghosted or blown out, you really need to start conducting honest self-assessment so you can improve after every call.
Otherwise you'll live on hope and keep on blaming external factors for not hitting your numbers.
Introspection is a superpower in sales.
Treat every sales meeting as a live study of your skills & abilities.
See it as a full on dress rehearsal for improving your next performance.
Otherwise you'll just carry on achieving the same results.
So take the time and keep working on the only valuable asset you have.
