Free Trials don't seem to work?

"I offer my prospects a free trial but they still won't commit!"
Why?
Because they haven't bought into the concept.
"But isn't it a no-brainer - if it's free for the first couple of weeks?"
No.
Because nothing is free.
It still requires time and effort.
Also, anything 'free' is instantly devalued in the mind of buyers.
Salespeople use free trials as a crutch, thinking that this in itself will magically sell their solution.
They are sorely mistaken.
If you don't elicit fundamental problems, pain, and potential impacts you really don't have much at all.
So go back to basics.
And find problems big enough that you can actually help solve.
