Intrinsic Value

When something is free does it lose all of its intrinsic value?
If you're cheaper than your competitors does that make your product/solution seem inferior?
When something is expensive does that make it seem valuable and a 'must have'?
When something is priced specifically or ends in a 7, does that make it seem more genuine?
When a price ends in a zero does that make it sound rounded up and therefore negotiable?
What's your pricing strategy?
