It wasn't that he was saying the wrong things...
It was just that his tone was completely 'off'
He spoke too quickly
Didn't seem comfortable in silence
Lots of upward voice inflections
To be completely honest - he sounded a bit desperate
Like he wanted to be liked
Seeking the approval of the prospect
And the prospect sensed it...
Firing question after question at him
Wrapping the brief call up by informing the salesperson how busy he was and to 'send me an email'
Salesperson left helpless
Walked all over again
With no control
We had a lot of work to do...
Starting with developing an empowered mindset
All roads lead back there
It manifests through your voice
So if you're mindset is wrong
Your tone will be 'off'
And you'll lose control
Quickly
It really is that simple
But fixing your mindset?
...undoing a multitude of poor habits and years of conditioning...
That's where the hard work starts
