Make the new year your best yet...

Today is the first working day of 2023 for most salespeople...
Here are some pointers to help ensure you outperform 2022: -
1) Listen back to 2-3 calls a week & dissect them.
(*If your company doesn't have call recording software use your phone to record yourself, or better still zoom/teams recordings.
Analyse them - ideally with the help of a colleague & note down one positive, actionable change you can make each week)
2) Spend an extra 30 minutes each day cold calling.
(*this extra 2.5 hours a week / 32.5 hours a quarter will make a huge difference)
3) Write down 2-3 achieveable SMART goals for the first quarter of 2023 & the habits you need to develop in order to reach them.
4) Send someone outside of work your cold email to get their objective feedback.
(*either a friend or family member who you think may be able to add value / give a reality check. A fresh pair of eyes can work wonders)
5) Never send another email using wooly 'salesy' language such as:
- 'I just wanted to touch base...'
- 'I thought I'd check in...'
- 'I wanted to see if you...'
Always have a strong reason / purpose for reaching out and make it about them.
