Mindset in Sales

"I'm terrible at cold calling."

Yes you are.

"I'm amazing at cold calling."

You really are.

What's the difference in these two statements, aside from the obvious?


Whatever you tell yourself becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

A lot of people will be familiar with the Henry Ford quote - “Whether you think you can, or you think you can't - you're right.”

If you fall into the first statement, just try and suspend your disbelief for one day and try on the second hat.

I guarantee you'll feel different.

Oh and by the way, whilst cold email outreach has doubled in the past two years, its rate of effectiveness has dropped by about 35%.

Time to stop hiding behind email?
