Monday morning sales meeting in ABC Ltd...
Sales Mgr:
"It was a tough week...so let's see what we have out there! "
Salesperson 1:
"Well Debbie's cat was rushed to the vet with an ingrowing toenail on Wednesday and she hasn't been reachable since, but I'll try calling her this week."
Salesperson 2:
"John has now ghosted 16 of my emails, 7 of my calls, 14 WhatsApp messages and 2 videos of me waltzing with my dog, but I have a feeling it will still come in...know what I mean?"
Salesperson 3:
"David has now been in a meeting for 168 hours straight, but his PA assures me he'll be out of it this week so it's still live."
Sales Mgr:
"OK so lots of activity and movement! Some things are just beyond our control. Commits for this week?"
Salesperson 1: "£55K"
Salesperson 2: "£25K"
Salesperson 3: "£37K"
Sales Mgr:
"Great - and where are these numbers coming from?"
Salesperson 1: "Debbie"
Salesperson 2: "John"
