Prospecting TIPS

Here's a couple of tips for any salesperson out there approaching prospects via email or on LinkedIn:
NEVER EVER ask for a meeting in your first message.
GET RID of the calendar invite and stop trying to push people into a time slot - you're not herding sheep.
People hate it. Like really hate it.
The people who are potentially your perfect client will run a mile.
Stop butchering your best leads.
This strategy has a 1 in 1,000 success rate.
You would get more traction if you ran naked down your local high street, screaming your company name with a sandwich board strapped to your body containing your elevator pitch.
If you have been instructed to use this approach - the former or the latter - push back, resist and start building relationships with curiosity.
It's really not that complicated.
Then watch as your engagement increases.
