So what do you do - more of the same?
Slightly more aggressive product pushing.
Doubling down on your solution.
You know it works.
People just need to listen!
So you'll aim to get twice as many emails out.
An extra 5 hours of cold calling each week.
🛑 STOP 🛑
And let these words sink into your consciousness.
"People buy emotionally on what they feel is important to them."
They don't give a shit about you or your solution.
The more you push, the more people run for the hills.
Lead with problems.
Always.
Ask yourself what causes them.
Think about the implications they could have.
What possible effects could they have on your prospects emotionally?
How do they think about them, talk about them, complain about them?
Make sure your conversations are so compelling they are the ones asking you what you'd suggest.
Your job is not a salesperson.
Your job is a business therapist.
You don't sell.
You listen.
You don't persuade.
You light the way for prospects to persuade themselves.
People are only ever compelled to act if it comes from them.
When they feel that sense of ownership.
Intellectually & emotionally.
