Storytelling in sales...



Why is it so effective?



Very simple...



Because it connects to people on an emotional level.



Which is the limbic part of the brain where almost all decision-making takes place.



So you really should practice the art of good storytelling.



But not just any old stories...or worse still boring storytelling, like that guy you get lumbered with at a friend's dinner party.



Make sure your stories are exciting, entertaining, relatable, relevant & funny...with layers and with depth.



If you only illustrate your points with numbers and with logic - that is all well and good - but it's not compelling.



On the contrary it's actually quite dull.



And simple logic won't bypass the conscious mind.



Great storytelling does.
