Money...
Why?
It's the best thing because...
- making money means more freedom, more independence, improved status, travel, house, car...other material things.
It's a metric of success and can boost ego, and lead to positive feelings & emotions such as pride, contentment, fulfilment, a sense of achievement & purpose.
It's the worst thing because...
- most salespeople allow themselves to be controlled by it - prospects have the money so they must be in the driving seat right?
This mindset drives all kinds of negative behaviours including: neediness, desperation, pushiness, disingengous, subservient & sycophantic tendencies.
To eliminate the negative aspect of money means detaching from it, and mastering the process of selling, in and of itself.
If this is done right...the money will follow.
If not, that dangling carrot will forever be your master.
And your behaviour will reflect that.
So detach from its power, minimise the negative, and attract a lot more of the best attributes of money into your life as a by-product of doing your job well...

- Speak to prospects as an equal
- Assert yourself
- Challenge things you disagree with
- Set expectations
- Disqualify hard
- Live in reality & become skeptical
- Ask great questions
- Make people feel comfortable
- Get to the truth
